How to make traditional filter coffee decoction

so..this is my first post..everyday at my home ,as soon as i wake up i have smelt the freshly brewed decoction which my mum used to make...we have never used instant coffee in my home..only on very rare occassions when my mum doesnt find time to make decoction..and note it none at my family will relish an instant coffee..
so i would like my first post to be the first thing that i do in the mornings...PREAPARING THE FILTER COFFEE DECOCTION..
for this u must need the coffee filter as shown below(sorry for the bad pictures..hope to improve in the future..yes,m very bad at photography ;P

INGREDIENTS:

filter coffee powder- 7 teaspoons

(this is readily available at the market or you can buy coffee beans and roast and grind them at home)

boiling water

METHOD:

This is the traditional coffee filter which we use at home.It has another filter with a handle..Place the filter as shown below  do not place the filter plate with handle at this stage..Here i have shown it just for how to use . 

There are different sizes of filter available..the point is to fill the cup about 60 percent of it..so choose the number of teaspoons accordingly

 Add the ground coffee powder.you can get it roasted and grinded in coffee shops or u can buy coffee beans, roast and grind at home.add about 7 teaspoons full to the top cup.

 Boil water .the water should boil well.

 pour the boiling water into the filter.The water should be bubbling..this gives the maximum flavour to the coffee.pour it till the rim.

 Let it sit till filtered.

this plate with handle is used to push the filter down. But personally i dont like using it as it pushes even the powder down sometimes..This doesnt taste good in coffee when u feel the powder while drinking the coffee..But u can use and filter in a mesh seive if u wish.

 close the lid..this kinda cooks the powder and then filters.

after sometime open the lid..and remove the top filter cup carefully..Be very carefull as it may be very hot to touch and chances of pouring the decoction are very high..now u can see the thickness of decoction..If it is too thick,u can add some more boiling water as mentioned above.

But make sure u add only to half of the filter cup..If u add more the decoction may overflow.

Now the decoction is ready to be used with milk.add the decoction according to your taste..either strong or light..The colour of the coffee says it all..enjoy the perfect homemade filter coffee
